Applying For An Account

The osCommerce Development Repository

The osCommerce development repository is only available to the public as an anonymous read-only access medium where the development version can be checked out from the repository and again be updated at a later stage when changes have occurred.

For commit access, where access is given to upload the local changes made to the repository server, a personal account is needed to identify who has made what changes, why the changes were made, and when they were made.

Who Can Apply For A Developer Account?

The osCommerce Development Site is currently only focused on the core code-base of osCommerce. Anyone interested in developing on the code-base is welcome to apply for a developer account providing the resources are there for a longer term commitment.

To apply for an account please send an email to Harald Ponce de Leon (hpdl at oscommerce dot com) with your community profile username, a password for your developer account, a description of what you are interested in working on, and the amount of resources you are able to dedicate on development.

If you are interested in helping out for a shorter term rather than a longer term please consider sending patches in instead.

We also welcome anyone to participate in the development related discussions held in the osCommerce Development forum channels and in the #osCommerce IRC channel.
